I’m Vitalis Vasylius, a photographer based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

As a child, I spent time in the countryside, surrounded by nature. I was especially fascinated by the starry sky and sunsets, which I tried to capture on slide film.

Though photography paused during my studies and early career, a 2011 trip to La Palma reignited my passion. Its mountains, volcanic landscapes, and spectacular skies left a lasting impression—so different from flat Lithuania.

Since then, I’ve returned to La Palma many times and explored other remote and rugged places: the Azores, Madeira, Chile, the Faroe Islands, and the Dolomites.

Travel deepens my love for photography. I aim to capture not just beauty, but also the atmosphere and emotions of each place—inviting viewers to experience them as I did.
